Unanswered Questions From Scientist.

Science in their quest for universal acceptance are faced with challenges as they could'nt answer the following natural question.
1.>>> Biologists do not fully understand the processes that take place in living cells. How cells consume energy, how they produce proteins, and how they divide are questions science has not yet completely answered.
2.>>>Gravity affects us every second of every day. Yet it is something of a mystery to physicists. They do not know fully how gravity pulls you down to the ground when you jump or how it keeps the moon in orbit around the earth.
3.>>>Cosmologis ts estimate that about 95 percent of what makes up the universe is invisible and undetectable by scientific instruments. They divide this strange entity into two categories, dark matter and dark energy. The nature of these remains unknown.
There are other unknowns that confound scientists. Why is this important? A popular science writer notes: “Our knowledge is vastly outstripped by our ignorance. For me, a life in science prompts awe and exploration over dogmatism.”
So if you wonder whether science is about to replace the Bible and dispense with belief in God ( Da ibon oro Don Fail You), consider this point: If brilliant scientists with their powerfull instruments have been able to gain only limited understanding of the natural world, would it be logical to dismiss out of hand the matters that lie beyond the reaches of science to investigate? Quite to the point, at the end of a lengthy article on the history and development of astronomy, Encyclopedia Britannica concludes: “After almost 4,000 years of astronomy, the universe is no less strange than it must have seemed to the Babylonians.”

How Does Science Affects Your Life

Science, is defined as “the systematic study of the nature and behaviour of the material and physical universe, based on observation, experiment, and measurement.” To do all of that is hard, often frustrating, work. Scientists struggle with experiments and observations for weeks, months, or even years. Sometimes their labors lead to dead ends, but in many cases they deliver benefits to mankind. Few examples are.
A European company has combined strong plastic and advanced filters to produce a device that has made it possible for a person to avoid illness from drinking contaminated water. Devices like that one have been put to use during natural disasters, such as the 2010 earthquake in Haiti.
GLOBAL POSITIONING SYSTED (GPS)
High above the earth, networks of satellites make up what is called the Global Positioning System (GPS). Originally designed for military applications, the GPS helps motorists, airplane pilots, ship navigators, and even hunters and hikers to find their way. Thanks to the scientists who invented it, the GPS makes it easier to get to where you want to go.

COMMUNICATION AND HEALTH.
Do you use a cell phone, a computer, or the Internet? Have you seen that your health has improved or has been restored because of advanced medicine? Do you travel by airplane? If so, you are benefiting from some of the ways in which science has been a boon to humanity. Science has affected your life in many positive ways.

THE REACH OF MODERN SCIENCE.
In an effort to expand their horizon, modern scientists are searching deep into the natural world. Nuclear physicists peer into the inner workings of the atom, while astrophysicists trace back billions of years, in an attempt to understand the origin of the universe. As they probe deep and far, even into realms that are invisible and untouchable, some scientists feel that if the God of the Bible exists, they should be able to find him. Ukót Anaam Ibon oro.
Some prominent scientists and philosophers go further. They carry on what science author Amir D. Aczel called “a scientific argument against the existence of God.” For example, a world-famous physicist claimed that “the absence of evidence for any God who plays an important role in the universe proves beyond a reasonable doubt that such a god does not exist.” Others allude to the activity of the God of the Bible as “magic” and “supernatural shenanigans.” *
However, the question must be asked: Has science learned enough about the natural world to be able to draw definitive conclusions?(Itoñoke toño nkpo dien). They have not yet started. Science has made tremendous progress, but many scientists recognize that there are still many unknowns and perhaps unknowables. “We will never get to the bottom of things,” said physicist and Nobel laureate Steven Weinberg on understanding nature.
“There may be things that humans will never understand.” The truth is that much of nature, from the tiny cell to the vast universe, still remains beyond the grasp of modern science. The design of our universe is not and will never be a product of Evolution, there is a designer and he still exist hence they (scientist)should start afresh on their research.
Having seen these the master designer of the universe design the earth for human survival.
Watch out for other series.

Bible perspective about Gambling.

Bible perspective about Gambling.

Although the Bible does not discuss gambling in detail, we can discern from Bible principles that God views gambling as a sin.— Ephesians 5: 17. *
*.
Gambling is driven by greed, which God hates. ( 1 Corinthians 6: 9, 10; Ephesians 5: 3, 5) Gamblers hope to gain money through the losses of others, but the Bible condemns coveting other people’s possessions.— Exodus 20:17; Romans 7:7; 13: 9, 10.
*.
Gambling, even for small amounts, can arouse a destructive love of money.— 1 Timothy 6: 9, 10.
*.
Gamblers often rely on superstitions or luck. However, God views such beliefs as a form of idolatry, which is incompatible with his worship.— Isaiah 65:11.
*.
Rather than promote a desire to get something for nothing, the Bible encourages hard work. ( Ecclesiastes 2: 24; Ephesians 4: 28) Those who follow the Bible’s advice can “eat food they themselvesearn.”— 2 Thessalonians 3: 10, 12.
*.
Gambling can arouse an unhealthy competitive spirit, which is disapproved in the Bible.— Galatians 5: 26

The allocation of the intervention funds is expected to boost job creation in the country and help stabilize the economy.
The sum of N200 billion has been set aside for the intervention project as contained in the 2016 budget proposal presented on Tuesday, December 22, 2015.
Speaking in an interview with BBC Hausa yesterday, December 24, the president emphasized the fact that although the plan is to ensure job creation through the intervention funds, not every citizen will receive directly from the process.
He said:“It would be impossible for everybody to get the welfare. But we all know that the federal government has been saying that it would work closely with state and local governments. And at the local government level, it could be said that everybody knows each other. They know those who have small businesses that can receive the support and retrieve it.
“This issue is clear and how to administer it is very much known by the people. Therefore, the arrangement must strictly be followed to ensure job creation.”
President Buhari also stated that 30 percent of the 2016 budget has been set aside for capital projects in order to help revamp the nation’s economy.
According to the president, the issue of disbursing funds for salaries of ghost workers has been addressed. This is in a bid to attend to pressing issues as well as steer the nation towards better resource maximization. To this end, there are currently 24 ministers in the country as against 42 from the previous administration.

Viewpoint watch (ediraphwatch): Buhari To Meet With Ministers Only When Necessary

Contrary to the culture of a weekly Federal Executive Council (FEC), President Muhammadu Buhari has decided t meet with members of his cabinet on when necessary, New Telegraph reports.
The meeting which is supposed to be presided over by the president and the vice president would also include ministers, chief of staff to the president, secretary to the government of the federation, national security adviser and the head of service of the federation.
The first FEC meeting under the administration of President Buhari took place on its inauguration after ministers had been given their portfolios on Wednesday, November 11.A senior official of the government who spoke on the condition of anonymity said the president was not against meeting with members of his cabinet but would only do so when issues of national importance arise.
“The focus of government is that FEC will meet when the president deems it fit to sit with his cabinet and deliberate on serious policy issues and may be, ministerial appraisals to ensure that there are deliverables.
“You will remember that since after inauguration, the president met his cabinet only twice to consider the Medium Term Expenditure Framework (MTEF) and then the budget proposal which has already been submitted to the National Assembly for consideration.”
President Buhari, it was revealed would only meet with his ministers at intervals to find out how they were working towards achieving the targets given to them.

Ediraph's Blog: The Efficacy Of Onions Peels

Much have been written on this but much is still desired, this article will highlight the efficacy of onions peels.

ZIKA VIRUS.

Bumpy rash, achy joints, inflamed eyes? Almost 24,000 infant have been infected by Zika Virus.
There’s a new disease in townNever heard of the Zika virus? That may change soon. Almost unknown in humans until the past decade, Zika is now spreading fast through South America and Oceania, and it may soon knock on our doors, too. Although it can resemble a mild case of the flu, the disease can lead to some serious neurological complications, including paralysis and difficulty breathing. It’s also the first known mosquito-borne disease that can be transmitted sexually among humans.
The virus was discovered in 1947 in a feverish rhesus monkey living in the Zika Forest of Uganda, but until 2007 scientists knew of only 14 human cases of the disease. That year it arrived on the travel-brochure-perfect Yap Island in the southwestern Pacific Ocean. Within a few months, nearly three-quarters of the island’s 11,000 or so residents older than 3 had been infected.
At first, those sick with Zika developed fever, joint pains and eye inflammation; then a red, bumplike rash erupted, sometimes followed by painful swelling of hands and feet. Some people vomited. Others were sensitive to light. But the symptoms usually resolved a couple of days later, and no one died.
In 2013 Zika popped up again, this time in Tahiti and other parts of French Polynesia. An estimated 28,000 people (about 11 percent of the population of those islands) felt sick enough with the virus to seek medical care. By 2014 it was showing up in several other South Pacific spots: New Caledonia, east of Australia; the Cook Islands; and, early this year, Easter Island, which marked the official arrival of the disease in the Americas, since that remote island is part of Chile.
Zika showed up in Brazil in May, prompting the World Health Organization and the Pan American Health Organization to issue an epidemiological alert. As of June 16, the number of suspected cases in the Brazilian state of Bahia topped 24,000.
So what happened? Why would an obscure virus emerge so suddenly and spread so fast?
Zika is a flavivirus related to yellow fever, chikungunya, dengue fever, West Nile and Japanese encephalitis, all of which are common in tropical climates but have started to spread in the United States and Europe in concert with warming temperatures, and they can cause serious health problems, even death. One possibility is that the virus has evolved, either making humans more susceptible or making it easier for mosquitoes to transmit it. “These types of viruses can evolve very fast,” Freire says. “The problem [with confirming that theory] is that we have very few complete genomes of this virus to study.”
Researchers believe that Zika most likely was spread in the blood of an infected traveler — perhaps someone from Uganda or elsewhere in East Africa — who served as a meal for a local mosquito. When that insect latched on to someone else, a new chain of transmission began.
The virus spread quickly because people in the new location had no previous exposure or immunity. “When a new virus is introduced in a population which has never seen it before, it can be transmitted easily, explosion-like,”Therefore, Zika virus will likely spread to new areas, and people should take steps to prevent mosquito bites to reduce their risk of infection.”
